The CCPGA was originally founded for the purpose of unity and protection in light of the State of Colorado's Pet Animal Care Facility Act (PACFA),  The C olorado Professional Pet Groomer's Assocation has since grown and expanded its efforts from this initial goal. A diverse group of professional pet groomers who live and work throughout Colorado and the United States, the CPPGA is dedicated to keeping groomers informed about this quickly changing industry.

Today, the assocation travels the State of Colorado offering open meetings to area groomers, members and non-members alike. These meetings cover a variety of topics, from legal issues to creative grooming techniques. Those in attendance learn about the assocation, the State's upcoming legislative efforts, and the latest industry news, along with local sources for a variety of services useful for today's busy professional.

The CPPGA sends out a monthly email FYI Blast, publishes a bimonthly newsletter, the Groomer's Newsline , and hosts continuing education seminars and workshops.

December CPPGA Holiday Party at Kay Bullards Shop Kay was a wonderful hostess. It was a small and lively group. We ate from a wide selection at the "Critter" buffet. Everyone played the gift exchange game very nicely. Too nicely, no one stole from anyone. Everyone left with a goody bag of favors from Kay.
